All that hair!!

Blake is very determined for Elsa to have red hair.
He was pleased to see that see does have a lot of red tones to her hair when in the sun.

Her hair is just getting long enough to pull up in a little pony tail.

We love playing with our little Elsa!! She is such a joy!

Father's Day

I have never worked with so much raw meat in one day before.
Anything for Blake!!
We started the day with papa's favorite breakfast: steak, potato and egg burrito
It's a homemade mock of the Beto's version but still Blake's favorite.
At the end of sacrament meeting the primary went up to sing for the dads and Elsa sung for Blake with them. It was so cute! She was asleep the whole meeting until the kids went to the front and she cooed and giggled during the whole song. She certainly loves her papa!! I was curious as to what they were going to give the dad's at church... well I am very grateful for the ONE See's candy I got for Mother's Day because the Dads got nothing. How sad!!
Blake got to choose what he wanted for his Father's Day dinner. He chose MAN food! 20 ounces of cow, loaded mashed potatoes, corn on the cob and surprise Vernors to wash it down.

It was so good!!

After dinner he got to open presents.

I found this idea at FamilyFun.com. Perfect for Blake. You make the "Tape Measure" box out of a mac'n cheese box, cover and add the yellow strips for the tape measure ruler part that he can pull out like a real tape measure and write sweets like, "We Love You This Much" on it . Better instructions on the website but super cute idea. Thanks Disney!

He then got to watch golf for the rest of the day!

Elsa is such a fun baby! We love to dress her up!
Her papa insist that we take a picture of her in all of her outfits, but I won't bore you with all of them. This is just one of papa's favorites.


We were just hanging out in bed after breakfast...

I can't get over how precious she is. She makes everyday a happy day!
It's so fun having a baby to cuddle and kiss on all day long!

3 Months!!

Elsa is 3 months old!!



She is starting to make cooing sentences.

She loves to watch tv with her papa.
Especially the NBA Finals.

A new toy!
She looks like a little bunny sticking her head out of her hole.
She liked to bounce! And it has lights, her favorite!

Sunday naps! Elsa can sleep forever when she's with papa.

Day trip to Logan

We took our first road trip.
Blake's friend Dustyn lives in Idaho but was in Logan for a wedding so we decided to crash it.
The ride to Logan was wonderful, Elsa slept the whole way. When we got to Logan disaster struck. I made sure I had more than a diaper bag full of diapers and a couple change of clothes for her. I knew when we got to Logan that Elsa would want to eat because we were past feeding time, which her napes have skipped a full feedings in the past and have caused no problems.
Alas, who knew mommy would need a change of clothes.
As I was looking for a secluded spot to feed Elsa I feel warm stickiness running down my tummy. Our first public milk leakage and miles away from home. Luckily my undershirt soaked up most of it and didn't seep through to the outer layer. Still breast milk is sticker than jelly and a bra soaked in it... well knowing how uncomfortable i would be all day I held back the tears and wrapped myself in burp cloths so as not to soak my dry shirt. Blake did go out to find me another but had no luck. We spent the day playing and hanging out with his old time buddy, his wife and kid. Got a picture with the temple, Oh how lovely!! Elsa was a good little baby the whole time. We will definitely be more prepared for the next trip.

Logan is such a cute town and the temple is so beautiful.

Oh So Sweet Elsa

Elsa is such a good baby but she does have her moments...

Isn't she still so sweet!
We love her so much that these moments are still so priceless!
It's amazing that a crying baby doesn't make you as uncomfortable as it did before you have a baby of your own. We don't let her cry, we just don't freak out when she does. So much changes when you become a mommy.
She has the most pathetic cry though, it really is hard not to laugh. Half the time it sounds as if she is faking it.

Blake doesn't like the big ones and I guess Elsa doesn't either.

I've been trying hard to be a good mom and stimulate my baby's mind in good ways. Like not watching tv all day because that truly is the easiest thing to do. So we play with her little light up toys, talk, coo and giggle, and go on walks with each other but I'm running out of ideas. I know at this age she can only do so much but is there more I can do??
