18 & 35

 January 14- February 13, 2013
This month we found a deal to go to the "surface" aka circus and thought the kids would enjoy it!
They loved seeing the lions! We found seats right were they brought them out to set up. Not the best seat for the show but by then they were more entertained with the cotton candy. Intermission they did animal rides... too pricey for our pocket book but it was so fun to get to see them close!
Elsa and Blake loved the "surface"!
Blake officially can go to nursery this month!! Although he has had 6 weeks of practice already. Yea I'm one of those moms...
Sharing? Playing nice? Had to document that!

It's been freezing cold and we've been starring at the same snow since Christmas plus whatever that has accumulated since then. We finally got a heat wave of 30 degrees and took advantage of it!
Sledding!

First walk up the hill Elsa slipped and face planted into a little patch of very soggy grass.
The activity went smooth from then on.

My cuties!

Blake and his buddy James!
I was not the only one craving donuts...
I'm about to hide Elsa's tutus... it's about all she wears!
Daddy was not happy about this moment...
"Watching balls with daddy" Elsa says. Aka watching the Super Bowl.
The couch is where have most of our fun... it turns into a slide, a house and most importantly a climbing structure that can be jumped off of. This is Blake counting to three in his own words...
Blake loves to jump, spin, fall onto the ground, run into the couch... anything silly boys do!
He's started talking a lot more in "real" words. Love it when their tongues can't completely get it.
I forgot to have him say pillow which is just as cute!

Happy Valentine's Day!
Elsa and Blake loved getting Valentine's cards in the mail and carried them around for almost a week.
They also went to a Valentine playgroup.

Fun Little Blake story:
Blake does this suckling "na na" sound when he has his "num num" blanket. He's done it ever since he was a baby. One thing I'll be very sad about when he grows out of. Recently he started "na na"ing in the tune of  Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. It's super cute maybe something only his mother appreciates and maybe you would understand if I could get a video of it. Anyways, he is the cutest little boy ever!

Things Elsa likes to do:
She loves knowing what letter everything starts with. It started at Christmas when I put name tags on our stockings. It's cute when she'll start to sound things out and just pick a random letter to make it start with. Elsa has been teaching lil Blake as well. She was teaching him how to say movie. She says, ""Blake, say movie, it starts with a cow, moooovie!"
She loves her friends! She is very social with people she knows but will get shy around new faces.
She loves fairies, ballerinas, Nemo, cutting paper with scissors (a very supervised activity), juice and chocolate milk.

This month Blake and I celebrated our 5 YEAR anniversary! Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Russell we got a whole three days to our self!!! I love my kids but it was a long awaited stay-cation! We didn't do too much: went to a bunch of DIs, went to the movie theater, ate out a lot, got massages... It was so nice not to worry about schedules, spent time with just the two of us and just relax!!! Oh yea and sleep in!! Everything we don't get to do everyday. It was really nice to see our kiddos Sunday night and the excited smiles they gave us melted my heart.

Due date was moved to June 10th... two more weeks of being pregnant...blah!
Blake and Elsa, both love to poke at my tummy and say baby. Elsa loves to lay on the baby in mommy's tummy. I wish she could feel how much he kicks at her when she does. I'm excited for the day when they can feel him!
