14 & 31 MONTHS

What have we been up too?

We got involved in a babysitting swap... BEST IDEA EVER! One night of babysitting for three nights of fun! Doesn't seem like a a fair trade...
Blake and I are loving our date nights!!!
Elsa now asks to see her friends daily.
My sweet little sleeper.
We went to the State Fair with Grandpa Wayne, Grandma Susan, Nick and Luke.
Elsa gardening.
Elsa's favorite ride!
Probably rode it 10 times. Weee!
My boys!

Oink oink! Elsa and her baby Sister, she doesn't go anywhere  without her.
Elsa loved the bunnies!
They had fun! By the end they were tuckered!
I've been trying to stock up on "busy bag" ideas to keep this little girl busy. If you have any ideas PLEASE let me know!!

Every day includes a walk or a visit to the park. I'm not looking forward to cold weather.
Elsa and baby Sister going down the slide.
She's so pretty when she's happy!

The view of poor victims within Blake's reach.
He's kinda turned into a drama king, but I still love him!
Weee!

Bye Mom

I love this picture... I think it looks a lot like daddy Blake and some Thackeray cousins.
"No no no," while he is playing with the PS3.
All my Sweety pies!!

Had to bribe her for these pictures..

Bubble beard
Doesn't like bubbles on her head

Tried my hand at canning. Pretty easy!
Lovin' Uncle Dalin.

Elsa making her bed. She gets major air!

She does a pretty decent job of getting the blanket straight.
Elsa loves getting her picture taken with Blake. When ever they are doing anything together she always asks to have their picture taken.

Funny Elsa story:
Daddy was teasing her baby Sister about being from Idaho and that her eyes are too far apart or too close together. Elsa had enough and said, "NO, she's not a HO, she's a baby!"
Elsa Facts:
She loves her friends! She's very social.
She very possessive over "her car" aka the van. She freaks out when daddy takes it to run his errands.
Elsa had fun during General Conference. I made bags with pictures of the first Presidency and 12 Apostles and every time one of them spoke she got to pick the bag with their face on it. I knew she wouldn't sit and listen but she got familiar with the Prophet and the Apostles. What do you you do with your kids for GC?
Elsa is a great big sister. She wants to be involved in everything that Blake is doing. When we would get him to walk to us she would sit on the floor and coax him to walk to her. Besides sitting onhim and pushing him over they have a lot of fun together.

Fun Blake Facts:
He started walking!

This video was taken three weeks ago. He walks 75% of the time now.
He can say dall (ball), mama, dada, ding dong(he loves the doorbell), and thank you.
He can sign please, more, cereal, milk, eat/food, drink, finished, and thank you.
He has learned that he can pick on Elsa just as much as she picks on him.
He has his favorite blanket and ever since he was a baby makes this suckling noise as he buries his face in it. He now makes a "Na na na" sound and he thinks thinks it's hilarious when we copy him.
He started giving kisses! Lips pursed and tongue sticking out between them. He'll be a great kisser like his daddy!

Family Facts:
Daddy Blake received a job offer with Kiewet! As it looks now we will must likely take the offer. God hasn't told us otherwise, yet.

11 months & 28 months

I feel like I have been super busy with no time to blog. Ask me what I've been doing... Life will sound pretty boring. "The same old same old." The end of the day/week comes fast and I feel like I haven't accomplished anything. At least I get to spend all my time with the cutest kids ever!
Here's the last month of our life!

Matching ties for Father's Day!!
Doesn't she look like one of those Precious Moments figurines?
 Popsicles!!!

 Petting ZOO!

This is the happiest, coolest kid you will ever meet! He did have an ear infection that put a slight damper on his mood but still got tons of snotty smiles from my sick little baby.
My pretty princess with her babies!

Getting into picking out her own outfits.
Tuckered after a day with grandma and grandpa Thackeray.
 In her boat!
We spend this last month helping Aunt Micah and Uncle Matt get their new house ready to live in and move in... boxes, the best free toy!
Kansas City Color Run! Thanks Neesha for such a fun time!!
How did he get so cute??!!
11 months old and he still wont crawl... he rolls everywhere... loves to stand, maybe he'll just skip it.
 Fourth of July!
It was fun to see Elsa's reaction to the big firework show.
Same with baby Blake, he wouldn't take his eyes off the display.
Loved his licorice too!
 NOODLES!! with cousin Pepper

If playing with wipes always results in cleaning the floor I think I could allow it more often.
 The mischievous three some!

It's been so fun being with cousins all summer!

 Silly face!
I have the cutest kids EVER!!
Updates:
Everyone has had an infection of some sort.
Kicked Kenzie out of her room and  moved in with Grandma and Grandpa Thackeray for the rest of the summer. So far only one awkward garment encounter.
Blake is doing great with his internship. He is such a smart, hard working man! They must not see that very often because they've asked him several times if he would like to extend his internship or stay and take community college classes. They love him!! We love him more and are so grateful we have been able to see him almost every weekend!
Picked up Indexing as the newest hobby. That's family night at the Thackeray home!
