Elsa making her bed. She gets major air!
She does a pretty decent job of getting the blanket straight.
Elsa loves getting her picture taken with Blake. When ever they are doing anything together she always asks to have their picture taken.
Funny Elsa story:
Daddy was teasing her baby Sister about being from Idaho and that her eyes are too far apart or too close together. Elsa had enough and said, "NO, she's not a HO, she's a baby!"
Elsa Facts:
She loves her friends! She's very social.
She very possessive over "her car" aka the van. She freaks out when daddy takes it to run his errands.
Elsa had fun during General Conference. I made bags with pictures of the first Presidency and 12 Apostles and every time one of them spoke she got to pick the bag with their face on it. I knew she wouldn't sit and listen but she got familiar with the Prophet and the Apostles. What do you you do with your kids for GC?
Elsa is a great big sister. She wants to be involved in everything that Blake is doing. When we would get him to walk to us she would sit on the floor and coax him to walk to her. Besides sitting onhim and pushing him over they have a lot of fun together.
Fun Blake Facts:
He started walking!
This video was taken three weeks ago. He walks 75% of the time now.
He can say dall (ball), mama, dada, ding dong(he loves the doorbell), and thank you.
He can sign please, more, cereal, milk, eat/food, drink, finished, and thank you.
He has learned that he can pick on Elsa just as much as she picks on him.
He has his favorite blanket and ever since he was a baby makes this suckling noise as he buries his face in it. He now makes a "Na na na" sound and he thinks thinks it's hilarious when we copy him.
He started giving kisses! Lips pursed and tongue sticking out between them. He'll be a great kisser like his daddy!

Family Facts:
Daddy Blake received a job offer with Kiewet! As it looks now we will must likely take the offer. God hasn't told us otherwise, yet.
I like that babysitter swap thingy! I hope they have those when I start having kids...probably have robot nannies by then. I cracked up at a few of these pictures, blake going down the slide, Elsa making her bed. So cute and I can really see Elsa's personality coming out! I loved how you did her hair in so many of this pictures, she is growing up too fast! You look like you guys have so much fun! Also that extra tid-bits of info were a lot of fun as well. Thanks for the update
ReplyDeletethanks Kindra for updating your blog. I love looking at your babies. I LOVE THE STORY OF THE BABY DOLL BEING FROM IDAHO. I think we can thank Uncle Doug Williams for this funny observation. Now how is Elsa so high in the air while making her bed??????
ReplyDeleteYour kids are soooooooo adorable! I love the picture of them passed out in the stroller! The State Fair really does take it out of them! That was one of the two nights he has slept through the night! I totally understand the cold weather concerns! Same here! Thanks for posting!
