6 Weeks!!

6 Weeks and all Smiles!!

Elsa loves to smile!
She smiles after she eats, when daddy sings to her, when she takes a bath, when you talk to her and tell her how pretty she is, when you smile at her, when she sleeps all though some times I think those are gas smiles;)
She is such a happy baby! She only cries when she is hungry just because mommy isn't fast enough and when she is tired.
She sleeps very well through the night. Waking only to eat just one or two times.
She is very alert and wide eyed when she is awake, like she ready to conquer the world!!

She loves to be with her papa!
(Blake decided that's what he wants to be called)
She'll be good for him until he takes out the Call of Duty to play and then she starts to fuss. She wants all of his attention...
or maybe mommy is training her very well?
She loves to sleep on papa's chest when she gets the chance.
I can't believe how big she is getting!!
She's 3 inches taller and probably 9+ lbs
I've started to weed out all the clothes that she can't fit into any more
so sad to see her get bigger but so fun to see her personality develop!

Mine is a home....

...where every hour is blessed by the strength of priesthood power!
I'm so grateful for so many things that Heavenly Father has given us, one being the opportunity for Blake to hold the priesthood. We've had so many blessings and learning experiences because of this great power. I'm extremely grateful for the examples (mainly his father, Kerry!) Blake has had to look up to and learn how wonderful and important it is to be worthy to hold these special keys. I know we will be forever blessed as we continue to live worthy.

Last Sunday, my heart filled with joy as Blake placed his hands on our daughter's head to give her a name and a blessing. We had so many family and friends join us in this wonderful occasion!!

Bath Time!

Baby Elsa loves her baths!
She could be crying her head off before a bath but the moment she touches the water she is as calm as can be.

We tried to keep it appropriate.

Grandma DEE!!

We were so blessed to have my mother, Grandma Dee, come to take care of us!!
It was a long awaited visit since I hadn't seen her since December. I still feel like a little girl sometimes when I get the "so far from home, I need my mommie" feeling. I definitely felt it a lot the first month or so when we first moved out here. I've adjusted well, but it was so wonderful to have her here!! She helped so much, I honestly don't know how people do it with out their mothers!
Having a new little baby is a huge adjustment to your life. So many things thrown at you all at once! Having the experienced hands around really made the transition a lot easier! It was nice not having to cook and clean for two weeks! After mommie left I felt helpless, and Blake starved until... well we haven't learned how to do it all yet... he's a good sport and helps a lot.
We miss mommie's hugs and reassuring touch and hope she knows how much she is loved and how grateful we are for all her help!

Auntie Dianna came to play too!
We loved her company and very
grateful for everything she did for us!!

We miss you and
love you forever and ever Grandma Dee!!

Aunt Neesha came to help too but she was too busy to get a picture.
Thank you! We love you!!
